Further to our previous update, we would like to remind the community of Prescott-Russell that as always, Valoris employees are dedicated to the well-being of our clients. Our team’s priority at all times remains our mission of service.

The union and employer bargaining teams met on Thursday, April 26th for a day of negotiations in the presence of a conciliator appointed by the Ministry of Labour. The conciliator’s mandate is that of a facilitator, who acts as a mediator between the parties to help move the process forward.

This first day of conciliation was positive and the presence of the conciliator was beneficial. In fact, the discussions allowed for good exchanges and we believe that we have made progress. Fortified by this momentum, a second day of conciliation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, where we will continue with the process in order to move towards a mutually agreeable Collective Agreement.

Rest assured that our continued focus is the quality of our services in our community. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
